Perhaps one of the biggest points of pride for us Wisconsinites is our German heritage and our love for beer. This weekend, we celebrate both! If you are looking to travel, La Crosse is home to one of the largest Oktoberfests outside of Germany, but if you'd rather stay local, Milwaukee's Oktoberfest is the best (we might be a little biased here). Here is what you can expect from this year's Oktoberfest in Milwaukee:

The event will utilize three areas of the festival grounds; the Aurora Pavilion, the Northwestern Mutual Community Stage, and the Hofbrau Beer Garden Commons, with entertainment spanning from 4-10 p.m. on Friday, October 3 and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. the following Saturday and Sunday. A mixture of jazz, blues, and traditional German brass bands are currently on the schedule.
